Something a little different with this doodle; a little bit of colour and a lot of geometric shapes in the background, a fair bit of experimenting and a pinch of ‘does this work’?

“When the world cracks and splits, does it bleed?”

Cracked is an original acrylic abstract painting on canvas measuring 20 x 16 x 0.7 inches. It began as a play with colours I don’t usually work with; browns and ochres blended and layered over the top of which white space was applied. Red acrylic was allowed to move and drip to form cracks and interesting areas over which a little varnish was applied to give them a blood like sheen as if they still dripped and flowed. It has been signed on both the front and back.

This original acrylic painting is available to buy from my website.
