Simple Photo Album.

My other creation today was a simple photo album, made as a gift for my nan and grandad. I have had such a lovely summer so far with the kids and managed to get some nice pictures of them during our numerous activities and holidays. I tried to email a few of the photographs to them but alas, due to technical difficulties it was not meant to be. Instead I decided to print out the ones I had chosen for my mum to take round there over the weekend when she goes to see them, then today I decided to go one better.

It’s only small, the printed pictures mounted onto fairly thick decent quality black paper/card, holes punched through the left side and a fairly plain black cover made.

Twine holds the pages together and there is minimal decor on the front but I think it works pretty well and hopefully will give them a way to keep and view the photographs that is simple, clean and will help to keep them safe 🙂

I have a few packs of different oracle cards, some that I do more in depth readings with and some that I tend to draw from and display at different points to get me through certain situations, encourage specific energies into my day etc. The latter I tend to display on my bedside table so I can see them when I wake and go to bed and reflect on them accordingly. I also have a few crystals and candles on that table and it has been irking me that I can’t stand the cards that I choose up to view them and keep them safe and away from the candles properly.

So I started making a stand for them out of clay, The first part is done in that the shape is made and now I need to wait for it to dry out before I can decorate it properly. That in itself is going to take a while but for now I can share a couple of sneaky peek pictures for an idea of what it looks like:

I’m looking forward to finishing this project a lot though I have no idea what it’s going to turn out like in the end. That in itself is quite exciting to me but be warned, there may be glitter…
